Way to many to count I think we have done about 45 to 50 every year. We did do our first 8 turkeys though a bit harder than chickens.

We have layers but killed three of the overstock Roos about 2 weeks ago . It would have been four but "Big Bob" got a stay from the Govenor at the last minute.

We are planning on doing 12>20 meat birds next time but are in the process of deciding breed . Will hatch from the egg

Hopefully LOL

Breeding chickens is like Poker - The next hatch could be a winner or loser-But losers are dinner.

I use a razor sharp knife, and we cut their jugular to bleed them out same as we would with chickens. The only difference is that because they are so big we need more than one person to move them any where because myself and my helper are both pretty small people lol.
