Help me learn if my BB OE bantams are girls or boys?

Hi,

We have 1 month old Old English Black Breasted Bantam chicks - eight of them.

From what we can see, ALL of them except one - have red combs starting and red patches on their cheeks.

The ones with red combs all act friendly, challenge each other, bounce around the brooder and bounce their chests off each other  etc. The one without the red comb is quiet.

The owner of the parents told us the roosters will get black breasts. Well, to us, all but one have black breasts.

But he says they will all change colors as they grow.

I've googled and googled. I can't find out how to determine the sex of these chicks. Can anyone help?

I think out of eight chicks, we have one hen.

oops, I posted this on the wrong forum. Sorry. I am new here.

You may very well have seven cockerels.  4 of the chicks in your avatar look like cockerels. Sorry!  The one with it's head down may be a pullet.  Don't be buying any lottery tickets.

The seven of them look exactly like the four you can see. One doesn't have that red crest.

Anyone want a rooster? lol.
