Hiya from Tennessee :)

Thread Starter

I have been reading these forums for months, soaking up all of your good information getting ready for my first chickens :)  Our coop is almost finished and I have complete chicken brain, it is all I can think about, lol.  Not that any of you would know how that goes, I am sure.  I am considering getting English Black/Chocolate Orp Splits.  I haven't decided for sure yet, because the farm can't sex the chicks and I am nervous about getting all roos!  *sigh* but I really want that breed!

Anyways just introducing myself since I am sure I will be on here a ton after the new family members get here!

Hello and welcome to BYC frow.gif Straight run chicks usually turn out to be around 50% roosters, but you can always sell the roosters. They sound like a stunning breed.
