Looking for Sebright Pullets/Hens in the San Francisco Bay Area

Hello,

I am looking for a few Sebright Pullets or Hens in the San Francisco Bay Area. I plan to keep a small flock of 4-5 hens as pets and for training projects using animal-friendly operant-conditioning-based training methods. I will consider rescues if there are any purebred Sebrights in need of forever homes.

Would appeciate any leads.

I did find three Golden Sebright pullets, and brought them home in October. It was kind of a fluke because the lady I got them from was trying to downsize, so she was looking to rehome my three pullets plus several Golden roosters. It seems I just got lucky. I found them on Craig's list, so I suggest checking there periodically using the search term Sebright.

It's not that hard to find Sebright chicks in the Bay Area, but pullets and hens don't seem to be that easy.

Thanks. I found a woman who also wanted some so she raised a big group for us and I bought a golden and a silver (hens). She also happened to have a Japanese bantam pullet, so my plan for 2 became 3 :)
The woman lives in Bolinas. I am so happy. They are lookers!
 
Glad you found your chickens. I'd like to get a couple of silvers one of these days.
 
Well, it's three years since I got my three sebright girls, and this year I lost two of them to a bizarre accident. The one I have left is very depressed, and I am very sad. Now I am looking for one or two Sebright girls to keep her company, and help alleviate my sadness.

Any chance the person you got yours from might have some available?
