I have 10 hens 1 rooster and 3 chicks just born last night and today. Here are the names:
Hoover- barred rock
Chicken little- buff Orpington
Sparky- americauna
Dumb and dumber- Rhode Island reds
T-Rex- Red Cross
Chocolate chip- houdan
3 silkies hens don't have names but our silkie rooster does, his name is Frosty. We call them the silkie mafia because they always cause trouble.
The 3 chicks that were just hatched from our silkies are Thunder(brown/black/grey) , lightning( white silkie) and Storm (lots of black with a little brown). We gave them those names because they were hatched during a thunder and lightning storm. I think it fits them well.
