cutest chicken names!

I have 20 isa browns so I haven't named all of them, I only name them when they do something that makes them different from everyone else. I have one girl named Falcon because ever since she was a moth old when I sit in their coop she comes and jumps on my arm and just sits there nicely. She's the only one I have named because she is such a pet. She now likes to sit on my lap rather than my arm.

I had picked out cute names before I got my chicks…..but at first didn't name them in case got a roo and would have to give away. But even before I knew they were all girls, they picked their own names. Especially Penny the Pincher! Funny how easy it was to name them as the personalities develop.

When I was naming my chicks I tried to stay themed, but couldn't decide, so I have themes for breeds instead.

Buff Orpingtons: Saffron and Honey

Speckled Sussex: Calliope and Thalia, but if we had gotten more of this breed, I probably would have continued with muse names like Cleo, or Melpomene (Mel).

A lady gave me these chickens I decided to make the naming part easy. It started with Wella the Welsummer, and Della the Delaware, then just went from there. Ella and Stella are Besties. Please lay me some eggs ladies.

Very good names, if you mix them up, they sound the same and chickens won't think you forgot their name when you address one….

I have 5 pekin bantams that my son named. Darth vader, chewy, wookie, Princess leia and jaja binx. He's a massive star wars fan. It may sound weird but the names suit the birds colouring...chewy and wookie are ginger, darth is black, jaja is mottled brown and Princess is lavender

I have 2 naked necks one the above is named Glenda. Glenda is such a pretty name wouldn't you agree? and below is Pretty Nilla because she looks like a Nilla cookie.
