What breed is my pullet?

She's i believe 4 months old now, I'd have to try to check my calender to know for sure.  She is the white an red one with the orange legs.  She came from a light brown egg.  And is no way related to the other chicks there.  They are from another hatch from eggs that came from a different family.
Her egg was from an e-bay auction.  I have never seen another chicken like her and no idea what she could be.  I'm sure she's a mix of some kind as the eggs were cheap

I believe EE lay bluish colored eggs. If she came from a brown egg she will probably lay brown as well. Looks like a sex link hen.

Married to wife of 18yrs, 19yo and 17yo boys(One EOD in Army, other in HS), Australian Shepherd, Australian Cattle Dog mix, 2 dumb cats that hate each other(at least the fighting stopped), 29 chickens

a sex link?  so a mix breed?  Isn't that what sex link are?
For the longest time I was scared she was going to turn out to be a he because of pretty.  Usually the real pretty ones end up becoming roosters.  I'm happy she's not :)
I'll let everyone know when she starts laying eggs what color they are.  I mean she came from a light brown egg but i guess if the rooster was an EE maybe she could get that trait?  I have no idea what breed/mix the person that I got the eggs from had because they were shipped.

Google "Red Sex Link Hens" and you will see pics on there that look like your girl. If that is what she truly is she will be an egg producing machine.

I hope so.  We can legally own 6 here cause I'm in the city.  So I am hoping to get enough eggs for me my husband and my dogs.  The other chicks are silky/cochin so i don't expect much from them.
They also are great fertilizer for my garden and yard :)

Sex links in their first 2 years of production will lay about 300+ eggs a year, then they start to taper off. I personally dont have any, but my neighbor does and they get an egg a day from each one almost all year.

I think she looks like a second generation sex link--someone bred sex link hen to sex link rooster. That leaves you with a bird who is not linked--both sexes will be the same colors--but are still docile and great layers.

Well, the kittens aren't so cute anymore and the easter egger cockerels are in the freezer. Plus, I think offering them as "prizes" scared folks off! So, I'm still posting quotes, if you know it let me know. I'm very enamored of this new one, it may hang around for a while!
