Rhode Island Red and Black Jersey Giants

Thread Starter
I want to have 25 RIR Hens, 25 JG Hens, 3 RIR Roosters, and 3 JG Roosters. Well, would some of the RIR Roosters mate with the JG Hens, and some of the JG Roosters mate with the RIR Hens? I will also have 3 male RP Guinea fowl, and 1 male goose, and a female goose. Would the Guinea fowl also try to mate with the RIR and JG Hens? What about the goose? I like the RIRs because they lay many eggs and are good for meat, I like the JGs because they lay less eggs, but they are big eggs, and they are also good for meat. Maybe a mix would be a good thing? Maybe If I want my flock to continue to other generations, I can have a mixed breed flock?
They free-range.
Thanks.

Free ranging, oh they will definately cross breed.

I've never seen a goose try mating with a chicken.

Usually if here are guinea hens around the males don't mess with the chickens.

Oh yess, you can crossbreed any of chickens.

I have 4 Silkies bantam, 4 Nankin bantam, 4 silkieXNankin bantam, 9 Jersey Giant, 4 RIR, 1 Leghorn,2  Light brahma, and 2 Amercauana. I have 10 roosters.

What breeds roosters is, 4 RIR, 2 Nankin, 1 Silkie, and 2 or 3 SilkieXNankin.

I hopefully we will get 1 amerucana rooster someday.

im planning to crossbred RIR with Leghorn, Amercuana, and Black Jersey Giant.
