An update on my young friend with leukmia

The family came over tonight for a cookout.

 

The aunt said that the young girl has received almost

400 of those e-cards and several snail-mail.

 

So, for all of the really, really great people here...

I thank you for caring, and taking the time to send her

the cards.

 

She's got them all saved in a special binder.

 

Thank You.

 

Spook...forever amazed by the awesome people here.

You said not to post, but keep posting updates.  I look for them and I am sure other people do, too.

Well, she surprised me.

 

Remission, and got to come home for a while.

How happy she was. But so frail...

 

But remission is sometimes only for so short a

time.

 

She returned to the hospital about two weeks ago.

 

Only time will tell...

 

 

Spook...who knows all too well where his friend is

in her heart. I myself live in this place called

"remission"...but with the knowledge that the day

may come when I lose.

i/m sorry to hear that. wish things like thos wouldn't happen to the young but all we can do is support them and pray.....
