Not to "highjack" but Mamahutch06, I think Rats are the ultimate in door pets for kids. Everyone buys hamsters, which are mean, or guinea pigs which are really loud. Rats are so friendly and pretty quite.

Not sure where the "Rats" discussion comes from but I have 2 of them I got for my daughter. We have been threw the hamsters which never appear to live long (atleast with a child taking care of it lol) Wont do guinea pigs or bunnies because I think they smell. As much I didnt want rats I decided why not and I am completely happy with them and we have had them forever!

1 Awesome husband, 3 kids (22,17,14), 2 step-kids (21,16), 3 grandkids (5,3,3), 1 dog, 3 cats, 13 chicken, 2 turkeys, 2 rats....My life in a nutshell!

Hi, they are all girls, are they only 3 months? if one is laying they must be older than this, usually 5-6 months is when they first come into lay, they definitely look at least this going by the comb colour and size

They where born on march 23 2012...so i guess they are 23 weeks ooops i think i was counting from may sorry :) Only 1 is laying, Hoping the other 2 start soon!
