Super large egg!

We live in Kansas in the city and our red rode island has been laying eggs for a month now and they are medium size. She did not lay yesturday  but she did today and the egg was huge. lol!

So cool!  I bet it is a double yolker!

I would imagine that it is. Or it could be an egg inside an egg. My girls want to show it off before we break it open and look inside. : )

31/2" long 51/2"circumfrence. It weighs 3 oz

Oh wow!! I got an egg yesterday morning and it was HUGE!!

It was 6" around and 3 1/2" vertical. It weighed 3 ounces :D I think Old Reds (Rhode Island Red) an overachiever :)

Whoa! Congrats and I'll be curious to learn if it's a double yolk. I'm thinking it has to be.
