Going to bed and praying tomorrow will be a better day. Night all!

Apparently my Lavender Roo and maybe my Lavender hen are carrying rec white and silver.  The silver was obvious on my last batch of whites.... that had chipmunk strips down their back.   I thought, that she was a sport, but apparently not. BTW the Whites are also USUALLY Lavenders, you just can't see it for the white.

O crap...now I need some White Ameraucanas, I mean Lavender Whites th.gifor White Lavenders...sigh

Hmm- these would be awesome for my Silkie feather Lavender Ameraucana project.

Ok, adding DMRippy to my stalking list pop.gif

REALLY?????  LOL.

It will be awhile before I over AMS.  I have to get caught up on some swaps, and side swaps first.

Anybody have Ams x Marans Olive eggers eggs?  I have someone asking for some and I don't have a pen set up yet.  My roo is still young and I am afraid the pullets might hurt him since Ams are smaller than Marans.   Just PM me... not 100% that I am going to need them. ... what the heck.... I can hatch them either way LOL

I've always called them buggies too! My grandmother is southern, I wonder if that's where I got it from? It seems like one of my dad's terms though, he has an interesting name for everything and if nothing comes to mind for him it is a "do-hickey"

I have some BCM pullets in with a BW Amer (he's BIG) and an OE roo (EExMarans). There is also a young Blue CM roo (hatchmate of the BCM pullets) in the pen with them; not sure if the other 2 will let him near any of the hens or pullets. There is also a black OE hen, 2 BW Amer hens, a splash Wh Amer hen, and 2 EE hens in the pen. I can send just eggs from the marans, or an asst, if you are interested.

Did anyone happen to read my earlier post about yolk membranes breaking easily? I'm still trying to figure out what could cause that. I tried google and didn't get anything definitive.

I posted my question when the thread was slow; not sure how I managed that lol.
