Time for some new smileys!

Okay, it is time to do some Smiley Reorganization!

Here is what we need from you:

  • Submit a few smileys you think would be worthy to be added to BYC.


We want smileys that convey a lot of feeling / emotion and will be used by our members to say with a picture something that usually takes 1,000 words! wink.png

 

We're going to be VERY selective and here is why:

  1. We want to keep the smileys list uncluttered with only the best of the best smileys
  2. We want the forum to be fast for people on dialup modems
  3. Nobody really likes to have to scroll past 50 unused / random smileys to find one that they really use a lot.

 


Remember, we will only add smileys that we think:

  1. convey a lot of emotion and feelings
  2. are ones that the majority of our members will use

 

 

If you have a favorite smiley and it doesn't get added here, you can still use smileys from all over the web - just paste them into your post. There are tons of sites that provide hundreds of thousands of smileys that people can use on BYC.  Our supplied list of "hosted smileys" will just be the best ones.

You should add it because a lot of people including me have to go *facepalm* to express that certain emotion :)

While I find Face Palms to be be comical as well I'd be afraid they might be incorrectly used making some people feel as if they were being trolled.

What is with the BIG smileys that I see people using? but they are on the choices but not big?

Just right click the smiley then select image properties. You can insert how large you want it to be there.
