Fall Batch

Thread Starter
Starting my fall batch of 30 Cornish Cross today. I am trying non medicated starter feed this batch to see how it goes. I am planning on finishing this batch at 7 weeks instead of 8 because my last batch started to get a little heavy. I am hoping everything goes smooth because I have a new brooder location. Does anyone else use non medicated? and have you had any issues?

Wanted to switch mine to non medicated but my local feed store only carries the medicated and I was lazy and didn't want to drive to the closest TSC. Medicated feed only contains an ingredient the inhibits the growth of an intestinal parasite that causes coccidiosis. It will not cure it if they get it but only helps prevent it.
