traffic jam in the doorway

Why is it that when everyone goes to bed at night they all try to cram

themselves in the entrance to the coop.    there is a nice roost in there

and a window and a vent in the roof so what's up??

I mean it's pretty hard to fit 18 chickens in one doorway :)...

1 Irish Setter (who can't love a dog that doesn't have to stretch to see what's on the dinner table), 1 Gordon Setter (i don't know anyone who can't love a gordon setter), 1 found Mutt (the best behaved dog ever), 50+ Chickens and  64 Lychee Trees.

And then they all fight for one spot on the roost when there is all this empty roost just waiting for them....

They all try to rush the door in the morning, and the gate in the afternoon to forage.

haha.. yes,

when I open the run in the afternoon they all try to get out of the door at the same time

and dive bomb each other for about 30 mins until they settle down.
