Honestly, the time has kind of flown by.  Seems strange to think that I'll be going into lockdown late this coming Sunday or early Monday fl.gif droolin.gif love.gif

I set 42 eggs on the 8th...just an assortment from my EEs and Naked Necks. Hoping to get a good hatch because I always lose a lot of birds during the fall months when the corn fields are high. Glad to be able to join a hatching thread! big_smile.png

OK, candled my 6 Sabelpoot eggs last night, day 7, and looks like 2 are definitely growing well, 1 is a maybe and 3 are definitely not growing or empty. Fingers crossed I get 3 chicks and at least 1 is a hen!

Just received my 12 Pekin eggs so will be setting them first thing in the morning, 12th Sept, after they are rested.

Meanwhile, my 6 chicks from the last hatch, now 12 days old, are all doing great in the brooder!
