Well Lacy has abandoned that last egg and moved herself and her chicks across the cage to the other side.  I put it under my other broody who is sitting on some mystery eggs from the poultry show.  We'll see.  Maybe it's not right.  I need to investigate more.

The partridge has an issue with it's legs ~ it was the one that was pipping and zipping for an entire day.  Here is what I have done and then redone to make it better per instructions (this is the first time I did it the second time I moved the bandaid up closer just under the toes).  Those of you who have experience in this is this okay?  He/she wasn't able to walk...not splayed out just like one foot wasn't right he was kind of rolypoly.  Thanks.

Looking good. The only thing I would do differently is bring the legs closer together. To use the white gauze pad of the platster (or band aid) as the width and leave no space in between the end of the white pad and the spot that the leg is connected. Does that make sense.

Depending on what type of plaster you use, some fall off more quickly if they get wet, you will have to change it about once a day. In the beginning he'll do more rolling than walking, but in a week or so will have learned how to stand and walk. I think the longest we've kept them taped is 10 days smile.png

There is a list of all kinds of abbreviations in the learning center abbrevaitions is probably the first thread there. I would think black/splash?
