Red Poo (including poo pic)

I have found red poo from my 11 week old Black Orpington for the last few days. It's not bloody per say...more like mucus. She also seems a little more sleepy than normal. I separated her from the flock amd wormed her and she seemed to perk up. But now seems back to being sleepy and still finding the red poo. I sit intenstine shedding and if so, how long does this go on? Or is it Cocci? Should I treat for Cocci just in case? This picture is from last week. I will try to post a pic of today's poo when I get back home.

It might be best to go ahead and treat her for cocci. Shed intestinal lining is normal on occasion, but the symptoms you described arnt normal.

I recommend treating her and the rest of your birds with Corid 9.6% liquid solution. Dosage is 9.5cc's per gallon of water for 5-7 days.

One more question. I have 6 week old chicks in a tractor near the coop. Should I go ahead and treat them as well?

One of my 13 week old silkies did a milky reddish poo today! Earlier today they may have eaten red lettuce.... Should I worry??? Otherwise very healthy birds and have always had low dose apple cider vinegar in their water alternate weeks since birth... Meant to prevent cocci etc.... Worried now !
