Krits rubbed his temples.  "Rom she doesn't really mean it.  She is full of fear right now.  Fear and anger are driving her.  You may say what you must and hopefully she lets some of it in."

Rom ignored him.

 

"I trusted you, Romealleaux." The female Drex whispered, her voice grief stricken. "And you left me there, to die. To be kicked aside into a pool of lava. I can't forgive you, let alone trust you again Romalleaux. So please, just leave me alone."

 

Rom fought back tears, "I'm sorry... I'm so, so sorry..."

Krits left the room unknown to Rom.   He knew there would be need for him.  But he did get a lot from the other prisoner.
