I am curious if anyone has any ideas. Hen is acting fine but just this weird combo of stuff.
She is a 9 month old americana hen, has been paying eggs for a little over a month.
Two weeks ago I noticed she sounded like she was coughing/sneezing when she was clucking, I monitored and didn't think it was anything serious, she continued to lay and had no others signs of issues. The cough/sneeze sound was hit and miss.
About 5 days ago I noticed her comb became very floppy and then her ears started turning white
Yesterday I noticed her right cheek is swollen like she got a bug bite
I checked her this morning and the cheek was still swollen
She laid an egg yesterday, not changes in her behaviors. Trying to get pictures of the cheek.
They may call me the crazy chicken lady but I think they are crazy for not having chickens!
