This is my opinion.The handsomest Roo then the Prettiest Hen then the Cutest chick.You may enter up to 3 in both slection heres the form.It will end 2 weeks after 7 entries.Any breed!Sorry no prizes.Just 1st 2nd and 3rd in each section.

I've got two handsome roos that are hard to photograph...
An Easter Egger named Hansel (I have a fairy tale theme to my chicken's names)


and a Porcelain D'uccle named Flint (DS1's chickens have a rock/mineral theme)

This is Sapphire, a Self-Blue D'uccle pullet (no eggs yet although she's getting close)

(held by DS2, yet belongs to DS1)

this is "a huddle" of chicks. 6 porcelain D'uccles, 1 partridge (looks buff to me) silkie, and 1 mixed BR/Sex-link
I've named the Mixed chick - Nugget because it's a cockerel and will eventually be eaten when he gets big enough. If female, I'd love to keep it because of the coloring/patterning. There's a male d'uccle in the photo too, but don't know what I'll do with him. We are hoping the silkie ends up being a female and I'll use her as a broody next year if she's cooperative. These chicks are all about 2 months old now and DS2 refuses to name them (silkie is DS1's)
