This is Peeps (aka Pep, Sneaky Beaky, Trick2Peep, Fleep and Stinky) the sun conure. My baby girl, shower enthusiast and also the food police.
She is an amazing, tricky flyer, even with clipped wings she could get all the way up the stairs, to the second floor of our house in one go. Peeps can poop in the toilet and is just starting to talk.

And this is Peeps the day I got her, at 12 weeks. I assume she's split pied? I got her from an Eclectus breeder who got her at 3 weeks from someone who didn't want her.

This is my parrot Kermit. The angelic light is really decieving. She's closer to the spawn of Satan haha. We rescued her from a pet store where they were "training" her by literally grabbing her and holding her against her will. I've never seen this as a way to get anything to like you. She was terrified of the people there. It didn't help people pulled her feathers through the cage bars. She would scream bloody murder if anyone opened her cage and you could just feel the resentment if you were to try to pick her up. I've been working with her for 2 years now but she still has deep rooted fear and hatred for being held or touched. She's a grouchy grumbly little angry bird that doesn't want to leave her cage... ever haha. She's not social or fun. She will not stay on your shoulder more than she has to, even if you just pick her up again and again she will not spend time with people. She also likes to poop on people. We have a hanging light with a chain that just happens to be over the couch and as soon as anyone sits there she will walk over to that part of the chain and poop all over them really gross! Haha and I know it's on purpose she aims for me and giggles when I get grossed out. The one nice thing is sometimes I can touch her tummy but very very rarely if ever.
I used to have a really sweet cockatiel she was the sweetest bird and loved to be cuddled and held and have her face feathers ruffled. I absolutely loved that bird! She stayed with me every day but when she passed I was so depressed I didn't leave my room for 3 days. I still cry over that. It was my fault I had no idea avocado was poisonous. Anyways my dad finally dragged me out of my room and took me to get another parrot as soon as possible. Now I wish I would have waited and gotten a nicer bird haha. I'm glad we rescued her and I'm committed to keeping her but I really miss having a nice bird to interact with.
