This spring I placed an order through mypetchicken which I have heard uses Ideal birds. I haven't ordered directly from Ideal so I can only tell you my experience which was very positive. In nice weather (not freezing or too hot, either) the postal service is very good about shipping birds. I received mine as day olds, shipped with a heat pack and all of them were fine. You'll have to check the Ideal website to see if your distance is okay for the ship date.
Good luck!
