How to keep chicks in hatching trays?

I recently aquired a GQF Sportsman hatcher to go along with my Sportsman Incubator.
It has six hatching trays and holds temp and humidity perfectly.
After my first hatch I am very happy with it, with one exception.
There is to much space between the front and rear of the trays and the hatcher.
This allows the chicks to bailout and end up on the bottom.

Does anyone have a fix for this? I read in the instructions to only use the covers for quail and game birds.

Been there, done that. I remember my first hatch in the hatcher. All the chicks from the carefully marked trays congregated on the floor of the hatcher. I devised hardware cloth "fences" that sit at the front and rear of each tray to keep the chicks in place. Here are pictures of what I came up with to fix the problem.
