i really didn't mean to be snarky... but tech support... should have an answer, even if my question was a bit confusing...
when this first happened, my home page showed nothing, just a small window that said I had no subscriptions/no subscription activity. the top threads were still scrolling on the top, and the brown section at the bottom was there, but there were no threads inbetween... if I clicked on the little window, it would tell me that I had no subscriptions... but if I clicked "my subscriptions" in the upper right corner, they would come up, but with no indication of new posts.
this morning, my home page has a long list of posts by other members for the threads that i follow, but no continuity, it was all the posts in the order they were posted so it's still too hard to follow.
my profile page, shows me all my recent posts, in the order that I posted them, but also with no indication of what thread has something new, but at least I can hop around from thread to thread with difficulty, as there are no indicators that I have already read the thread, so I have to keep a checklist of which threads I have already looked at, but then... before logging off... I need to revisit just in case someone replies to something I add...
I just am not sure if I actually did something or if byc changed it's "look". I have tried clicking all the tabs. it does not bring back the original way my page has looked since I joined in July. it only makes this more confusing. So, I have to go to my profile page and look for the thread link that might interest me the most, and go to my last post and read from there, problem is, it does not usually bring me to my "Last" post... it brings me to my 3rd or 4th to last post, and that could be pages and pages back... like I said, my time on byc is precious to me and limited, so... i never get caught up before it's time to log off... like this for instance... going to the thread itself only showed me page one, there was no page two. in order to find page 2, I had to go to my profile, click "more" 3 times to get down to where my above post was, and click that in order to see your reply... this isn't working at all! 20 minutes to get this done and no time left to look at my friends new pictures of their feathered family...
! Rather than start a new thread, I thought I should start here... Last night, I tried to "back page" but it didn't work, and logging off and logging back in didn't work, and there is no "button" to click to change how my page looks.
