I did not glue mine just in case I wanted to move them or if I had to disassemble them to clean for any reason.

Im not saying those things won't work. My son in law has 5 hens 2 turkeys and one cockerel . he has 3 of those feeders and they work really well for him his design has very little waste. Mine on the other hand not so good. I blame my chickens there are 25 of them and with the feeders near a wall like these are the food gets all around them on the ground and since there so high its easer for those greedy hens to just get more from the tube and trample the food on the ground.
I took a hanging feeder and raised it up about 6 inches and some of my lazy hens pick the low food up instead of reaching . Bam almost no waste.
