Craigslist Chickens?

Thanks to everyone for the advice! I've built a good sized coop, but I'm not sure where I could house three chickens seperately for 30 days. What do people typically do in this situation? I don't think a partition would be an awesome germ barrier. Do folks keep a smaller enclosure for situations like this?
I read the threads from the old timers here on BYC. And yes, they have a separate enclosure. I have an old rabbit hutch that I used as a brooder when I first got my chicks. I've kept that in case I ever have a sick bird or want to add to the flock. Do you have an old dog house? A lot of people on here can get pretty creative. I saw one that used an old entertainment cabinet.

There are diseases that chickens can get (MG, Infectious Coryza) that chickens can recover from, but can be carriers even if they show no symptoms. Some people cull sick chickens, others ride it out or treat them. Even if you ask, you won't really know if they've ever been sick. Your chickens can get sick if even one of the other chickens is a carrier. It's a chance you take if you don't have a closed flock.

Ok, now I get it. I wasn't questioning the chickens being a carrier, just that all of them would be. So basically, the whole flock could have had something like that and then recovered. It makes sense now. Sorry to everyone for being slow.
