I have a question to add to this. My chicken pooped out this embryo thing, but there wasn't blood on it, it just looked like a raw meaty thing. What is this? It has only happened once and it never has happened again. She is acting and looking fine and normal.
 
hi the same thing is happening to my chicken and its not the first time. I'm reading different posts to see if I can get information about the same thing you are going though. I gave my girl calcium mixed with corn and feed and she ate well. Maybe you can try until someone with knowledge answers your post. Thank you for sharing and I hope our chickens feel better soon.
