Sunday, September 30th, 2012 -- 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. or until the last person is standing!

http://www.co.san-diego.ca.us/parks/picnic/collier.html

Just an FYI for anyone who might be driving up and taking Poway Road to the 67:

Poway Road is going to be closed from 7-11am (I think I'm remembering this correctly) on Sunday... you'll need to take Highland Valley Road or Scripps Poway Parkway between those hours.
WE NEED:
-call the park and make sure it's okay for us to converge on them DONE! Thank you igotchickens
-someone willing to go early to secure a nice shady spot for us, the concrete tables under the big trees are always shaded
-raffle prizes
-someone who wants to be in charge of the raffle (collecting prizes, setting up the table, selling tickets, calling out numbers)
-someone who wants to be in charge of the cupcake contest (prize, setting up the table, finding judges, announcing winner)
-someone who will be there early to provide name tags and make sure that people put them on
-someone committed to staying until everyone has left to make sure all is picked up and left as we found it

Pic nic style, bring a dish to share if you'd like too.

Cupcake contest!! Bring at least 1/2 dozen cupcakes with some sort of poultry theme. After judging extras will be offered to attendees.

Raffle Prizes!!

Bring birds, and lots of them!!! This may be the last meet up of the year folks!
If you plan on having a table to sell items please bring your own table as we won't know until we get there what's available. Thank you
