Some asked me for egg turner's schematic. Here it is. Very unique since this is my design. If you plan to have an egg turner for less than 42 eggs, buy the egg turner that sell for hovabator incubator. If you plan to make egg turner for couple hundred to couple thousand eggs, this is a perfect turner for you. If you have any question, just ask, thanks.

I have added escape door for hatched chicks and separate door for adding water, will add pictures later.

Thanks for posting the egg turner schematic.
Can you post the part-price list please.
Did you get the parts local or online?

Hi Quyen Le,

Thanks for posting the egg turner schematic!!... Very helpful, as I intend to build a small cabinet incubator and this is just what I was looking for.

I think I understand how it works (newbie), but please bear with me in a couple of issues:

1 - When one of the stop switches is activated, the energy to the motor is cut (motor stops) AND the current is reversed... Meaning the next time the circuit is activated (next ON period from the timer) the motor rotates in the other direction... Is this correct?

2 - As I'm using a small rotisserie motor that works on AC 220V, I think I can dispense with both transformers if I use a 220V coil DPDT relay... What do you think?... Is this doable?...

Thanks for your help.

Regards

Hi genepittman,

Thanks... It made sense.

However, I believe my AC rotisserie motor transformerless circuit idea is out of order...

The problem is (unlike in a DC motor), in a single-phase AC motor it's not possible to control the sense of rotation just by swapping the current polarity... AC = Alternating Current... Duh!!...

Maybe this can be worked around... Mechanically?... Humm...

hello.. it will be great to have the numbers of the relay on the upper hand corner written down at the relay on the diagram, that way will be easier for me to understand what wires are connected to what... thanks..
