Hello from Los Angeles! What breed/breeds are you getting?

I would recommend reading about apple cider vinegar and diatomaceous earth - I wish I had known about them from the start.

Have fun and feel free to ask lots of questions.

Hello and welcome to BYC frow.gif Have you looked at the Coop & Run - Design, Construction, & Maintenance section for ideas? Got some lovely coops there. Oh, a bit of advice coop wise: Make it bigger than you need. Once chicken math strikes you'll need the space! The Learning Centre is packed with wonderful info for a beginner, under Frequently Asked Questions you'll find a wealth of quick links and the Sticky threads (blue ones on top in each section) you'll find lots of good info too. Enjoy every minute and make sure you post pics!

Home of the world's cutest dachshund, one crazy blue heeler, two cats,
one fat pony, and many (but not too many!) chickens

Can anyone tell me, how many are too many chickens?
