jersey giant chicks

i have just aquired 50 chicks and some of them have weeping eyes  and there eyes are closed we have had a few faitalitys they are being fed on started crumb they have plenty of heat and light there water is changed twice a day can any one help with a diagnosis thankyou

Try washing their eyes with saline eye wash or look for the eye ointment called, Terramycin.  You might see it at a feed store.  Also, try to research "Pink eye" or type in "Chicks have crusted eyes" and try to match the symptoms to your chickies.
