Hi, so we just started chickens about 5 months ago. One of our chickens keep laying there eggs on the floor of the coup instead of the nesting boxes. Not all the time, but often.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance

What kind of hen is this ?

Why would one of my hens suddenly start laying eggs in the hemp on her coop floor in the corner. I end up throwing those eggs out.

So I'm new to backyard chicken I have 5 leghorns, and 3 sapphire plymouth, they have only been staying all night in there coop for a little over a week. When we first put them out there we would have to catch them at night to put them in the coop they couldn't get going up the ramp to the coop, now I'm worried that they will never let me pick them up, they will come around me when I'm in the chicken area, but people say that there chicken fallow them around mine don't they run away from me. Do you think that catching them like that made it so I will never get them to trust me and to stop running away? I love each of them so much and I want them to love and trust me.
I know I sound like am idiot

I have a hen, 1 1/2 years old, that struggles to stand and has a droopy tail. She was fine in the morning and in the afternoon, was sitting alone away from her 5 sisters.
