We are looking for a home for our lovely Black Copper Maran rooster. He has officially been kicked out of the flock by our more dominant BCM roo and now spends his days alone under our deck. It's making us sad to see him alone and don't want him to live in fear/being bullied. (yes, I realize I'm anthropomorphizing, but there you have it) He is Bev Davis line and has been raised in an entirely organic, free-range environment. He is a little over seven months old. We are in East Chatham

Beautiful rooster. Raised entirely in a free-range setting on strictly organic feed. He is a Bev Davis roo (she only breeds for eggs that are 6 or darker). We are in East Chatham. Will sell, but would prefer to trade for a BCM hen. He is 15 weeks old, just got his crow, and just started trying to mate with my hens.
He's a handsome fellow. To bad we're in Kentucky!

I don't know where West Milford is, but I'm sure you could map it. East Chatham is in northern Columbia County, NY. He is about five months old. I don't have a recent pic. If you are very interested, I would be happy to take a pic tomorrow when he is awake. It is important that he go to a home that either doesn't already have a rooster, or where he would be separated from another rooster. He is not aggressive and I'm trying to find him another home so that my more dominant roo doesn't kill him.
