Upon arrival, I first transferred them one by one into a different box, makin' sure each drank a bit of water (which had cooled since heating to better dissolve the sugar and dash of salt that I'd added). Thought they'd stay in this short-sided cardboard tray for a day or two, before beginning to clean through the layers beneath ...
... as you can see? One immediately responded to my hand (or, it's possible addiction to sugar). I love how the others seemed to look briefly to one another, as if they questioned the first's intelligence, just to realize that they were dumb enough to blindly follow her.
Raisin' chicks is entirely too much fun to cost so little ~'-)
I've a similar video that captures them tryin' to figure out the actual waterer I replaced these tiny ones with; will post it later ...
