Grass clippings will also darken the yolks if you don't have any of the above.. Naturally, you wouldn't feed them grass clippings that have chemicals on it. Just cut grass from your lawn works. Just throw it in their run. You noticed I said clippings.

I'm out of eggs. But I know where some brown ones are. I now raise big Ol' Honkin' Bob Whites & Layed back Coturnix. Pray For Rain In Texas!

Thanks for all your tips x I gave them chopped up cherry tomatoes today and peppers they seemed to like the tomatoes and pecked at the peppers so onwards and upwards I'm gonna read all your posts carefully and have fun experimenting x
