I ordered another batch of silkie eggs that will probably arrive by Wednesday or Thursday. So after they have had time to settle I will start them then. WooHoo!!!! wee.gif

What do you all do with the chickens you don't want? Like the roosters? I can't kill them and eat them like my Grandmother did, rest her soul - and I have tried Craigslist without any luck. I have even tried to give them away without any takers.

Lots of chickens! Silkies, Seramas, Bantam Lavender Ameraucanas, Silkie Ameraucana X, and have had Polish and Black Copper Marans

Keep posting every day on Craigslist. Do you have a feed store near you? Maybe ask them if you could put a sign up or if they know of anyone who would be willing to take them. You could also post in your states thread here on BYC and see if anyone would want them. I have also joined a few Florida groups on Facebook that are for poultry and people buy sell and trade all the time on there.
