Rooster hit by a car - Page 5

Sad to say he didn't make it through the night. He was pretty rigid, so I'm guessing he died soon after I last checked on him late last night. Maybe he was waiting for peace and quiet?

Thanks for everyone's well-wishes and advice, this has definitely been a learning experience for me.

His laundry basket was lined with a fresh towel every other day, so he was comfy. And I need to get some new towels.

Well, that's too bad, you did what you could, at least he was as comfortable as possible, instead of dying in a ditch, alone, cold, and scared. Rest in peace roo.
