Vitamin A Deficiency

Thread Starter

I've read a lot of posts on the forum about chickens with boogery eyes, crusty beak, crusty eyes. Some cull chickens that seem to have some sort of upper respiratory infection, when sometimes it started as a vitamin deficiency that could have been prevented.  ..(just wanted to post the link in case it helps someone)

Chicky Bang Bang (great handle!), thanks for this information. I was looking up bloody yolks and traced the Vitamin A deficiency to your post. This is also good to know for the potential mis-diagnosis of respiratory issues. Thanks again!
