wow, I wish that happened to me.  I can eat just as much organic chocolate as traditional!

I will gather up some websites that may be of interest in the sake of organic chickens.

I'll keep updated with you. wink

Sounds great!  Thanks!

Mama to 1 rescued RIR/leghorn mix, 2 hand raised reds, 1 Jersey Roo (oops!), 2 golden laced wyandotts, 2 buff orpintons, 1 barred rock, 2 extra licky boxers, 1 blind kitty, 1 big box of worms and the bestest little boy in the whole wide world.  I love my urban funny farm!

If anyone is interested in checking out what I have compiled so far you can go to my Organic Chickens BYC page.

Please bear in mind this is just getting started so I don't have too much on it yet.  I thought it could at least get the organic creative juices flowing!  lol

Wow, great work!!!

As more people find and create threads and BYC pages on this subject it will be great to see them added!

Yeay!  And thank you for the idea - Nifty!

We're always interested in Organic methods. Since we're just starting out (chicken newbies, so to speak) we'd like to start out organic if possible & get used to the organic methods.

I would be all for it, esp. if backed up with actual research and results, even in small numbers.  Ex.:Compare weight gain between 2 barred rock hens from same hatch, in good health, weighed before and after, only difference being two diffferent feeds, supplements, or whatever.  Everything else controlled as far as possible.  In other words, follow the scientific principle when setting up experiments.  Take no money from anyone, unless up front agreement with an internal review board setting rules to publish good and bad reports with no skewing.
Saying al:)smilethumbsupl that, this is an EXCITING time! We could learn so much and help so many.  I'm FOR IT!!!!
