My little girl is amazing,,just this am she told me she still loves the geese, but just not when they are trying to eat her!! LOL! Poor thing,,her heart is still huge which is a great thing!

One of the 2 embdens are wonderful,,not sure if it's the male or female,,but man this one is a softie, cuddler, chatter, just lovely! Too bad they have to stick together,,but I wouldn't separate them.

They are only 5 or 6 months old,I rescued them in june and they were just getting their feathers,,

She sounds like a real sweet heart to have forgiven already.

Is there any chance of keeping the tame goose with my other birds? Yesterday I kept her(the tame/friendly one) with my other ducks and chickens and everyone was happy,,is it possible that a female goose can live happy without the aggressive gander?  And would the goose become aggressive over time,,or is it mostly ganders that are the aggressors??  I would love to keep my tame and friendly goose! what are the possibilities?

If she acted like she didn't care when you separated them, they must not be bonded. I would keep the friendly one. Maybe get her a girlfriend smile.png

She would probably be aggressive once she started to lay and wanted to sit. I have only had a goose for a short while so can't answer if she'd turn aggressive other than during breeding season. My girl is very sweet too, so maybe it's mostly ganders.

aoxa, things may change a bit when you get your gander. It's there responsibility to protect their girls, I think some just carry it to extreme.

If he is aggressive I don't know what I'll do idunno.gif

Maybe breed him and sell him as soon as I get some goslings and raise those up by hand . I am not sure what I'll do. Think happy thoughts.. tongue.png
