Growing fodder for chickens

There is one seed in one of the bags that has a coating on it. The other seeds are just plain ole seeds. It's never bothered any of my birds or chickens to eat it.

What do you mean by 'seed treatment'?

Seed that is used to plant is usually treated with some kind of treatment to ward off bugs and disease when it's planted. It almost always has a colorant mixed in such as green or red. That's why I was wondering about the throw and grow in the pic posted cause I thought they treated their seed since it's not a food but a seed to propogate plants from for deer.

OK, thanks, just wanted to be sure, as I purchase seed for my 4 (chicken) grazing frames.

one of the seeds from the 7card mix has a yellow coating. It wears off quickly as the seeds grow and there's really not a lot of that type. Since I'm not feeding sprouts but actually grown grasses and brassicas I figure it's ok.
