One of my SLW has a single comb too! I've wondered about this! She's in the background, kind of hard to see her comb.

I have one SLW hen with a single comb. She has been like that her whole life, interesting to hear of others with the same condition!

When can I expect to see my Silver Lace Wyandottes to grow their combs...they are almost 3 weeks old
they really dont have a very big comb to begin with,so maybe by 12 to 16 weeks old some comb will be starting to show..?
Mine that have single comb can be spotted early, at about 15 weeks the comb had a very tiny ridge down the middle instead of being flat or rounded. It probably shows earlier, like 12 weeks, if you look for it.

Thank you for these post, I was wondering if I had roosters with the single combs, but that’s the only thing different about them. I bought 6 SLW pullers and all but two have rose combs, so I was wondering.
