Hi everyone!

I adopted 4 chicks from my daughters Day Care centre about 11 weeks ago and we have fallen in love with them. On the paperwork we got it said that the little yellow chicks would be Light Sussex. On the website documentation it doesn't mention light sussex, but New Hampshire Sussex. It also mentions white leghorns (http://hennypennyhatching.com.au/rs...UESTIONS ANSWERED -amended + with borders.pdf)

I googled White Leghorns, and... well Tortilla might be one, but all the pictures I see the chickens are REALLY white. Torty is white, but not a crisp white like the pictures. She also has some flecks of brown/black through her feathers. Is she a White Leghorn, or something else?? She's about 13 weeks old.

Please excuse the mess, she was perched up on our planting table.

So what do you guys think... White Leghorn, a mix, or something else??

That is a mixed breed cockerel. Could be sex link, due to the color. That reddish/gold color will spread as he ages.
