I just finished hatching a brood of 7 chicks very late last night. This afternoon, I noticed that one of the chicks just layed on the ground and slept, even when I accidentally dropped a box and the sound scared the rest of the chicks, this chick just lifted her head and kept her eyes closed. I picked her up and she still didn't open her eyes. So I gently pried her lids open (they were like......stuck....I can't describe it...) and she blinked a few times and then started looking around her like WOW! So I put her back in the brooder and she started running around and eating and drinking. A little while later I came back to check on her, and her eyes were stuck shut again! I've had to pry them open several times now. What is wrong and is there a way to fix it?
