May I ask how you were able to hatch an egg with half a shell? What did you use? I tried removing half the shell with the clear membrane intact and then covering the membrane with clear nail polish to act like a "shell". I only tried this once to a single egg so maybe it could work, but the little embryo died at day 14. I was pretty sad being that I was watching it the whole time. So what did you use to sucessfully hatch it? I was thinking about trying to use clear hot glue instead of nail polish. It would only be hot for a few seconds and would be stronger and contains less cemicals.
