Isa Brown chicks

First :welcome If you breed a RIR male to Barred Rock females you will get Black Sex-Links. The ISA Browns are excellent layers.
At this point, I Don't want to deal with roosters. The Isa Brown rooster that bred my Isa Brown hens was the meanest, nastiest rooster I had ever been around. He would try attacking me through the fence even. Grrr* I raised him from a wee bitty chick & that's the thanks I got. Geesh...
He now lives across the road with my neighbor...
I had quite a few heart breaks as I hatched out eggs. A lot had slipped tendons. A few I culled, a few I kept & am taking special care of them. My heart just can't handle the heart break anymore so I've opted out of ever hatching out chicks. I now will stick with buying live chicks & raising them.

I need to find homes for the little 4 to 9 week old roosters I have. They're the ones that I hatched out from my hens & rooster that now lives across the road with my neighbor.

If you have any swap meets in your area you could always take them there and ask maybe $5.00 each. It would help a bit with the feed cost.

I had one really mean rooster once years ago and it was an ISA Brown male. I took him to the auction with a few other birds and sold him. I haven't had a bad one since. I do hatch out all of my birds. Every once in awhile i may get a problem chick but most are fine.

I've got 14 males I think I'll be taking to the fair grounds on Saturday. Every Saturday they have an auction there. Lots of stuff to see. Vendors even have produce that looks good.
