I just picked up 9 d'uccles that a co-worker was giving away. One of them is a color I've never seen or heard of. It's got the mille fleur pattern, but on a white background rather than the usual reddish-brown. The dots are black. They bought it as a chick and the owner didn't know how it was that color. It appears to be pure d'uccle and not a cross. Anyone ever seen this ? I can't send pictures here with this phone, but could email some if anyone wants to see it.

It's got more white. Basically white backgrown with black dots. I just got home with them, so may be a little bit before I can send a pic. But I will send one.

really sounds like you have a silver and i would love to have one of those as far as i know this color isn't in the US yet

this one is from France

It looks like that, but can't remember if the tail has that much black. I'll be going out to the barn in a couple of hours and will try to get a picture if it's not too dark in the barn. If so, I'll get one after work.

I'm at work until 2:30 and will take a pic as soon as I get home. It does look like the picture of the silver one. It has the black tail, but not quite as many black dots. It's a young pullet-no more than 4 or 5 months old. I guess it will be impossible to find a male the same color.
