Are Black Astralorps nice?

I have two from McMurray. They are HUGE, incredibly beautiful in the sun, and very calm.

I don't handle my hens a great deal, but the BAs are easy to pick up and don't freak (like my GLWs do).

My quiet Australorps

I have thirteen black australorps. They are three months old (hens) and I selected them for many reasons but importantly because they were supost to be quiet. (Urban hens) I live in a city on a 3/4 acre lot. At three months they are quieter than the blue jays and mockingbirds. Those who have B/A

do they remain this quiet even as they get older?
