Turkeys imprint on people and are very personable ! All 27 of my Holland Whites do that, but with 27, it's more like a stampede! LOL
Thank you, Celie, he is a sweetie, too. He delicately picks food out of my hand, and follows me around like a puppy.
This Tom and one hen from the trade, are supper friendly, but all eight of my turkeys follow me. What I find funny is whistling at them from across the yard, and have them start running toward me.Half of them usually start flying, and wind up going over my head.Turkeys imprint on people and are very personable !
